  About Our 7-Day Return and Exchange Policys

We can accept most returned merchandise for up to 7 days from the date you originally received it. Because our great values change frequently as we locate new and exciting deals for you, our 7-day returns gives you time to return a purchase, while helping us to keep our merchandise assortment fresh and in season.

  • Note: There are no cash refunds on special orders, store credit only will be applied on items that are special ordered.
  • Sizes 3XL -7XL sizes are not normally carried in stock and are considered special order items there will be no refunds on any special order items.... store credit only will be applied.
  • No refunds or exchanges on closeout items.
 
 Effective 6/18/2008 All returns must have a RA number. (Return Authorization Number) Please call the store between 11am and 4pm Monday-Friday for the RA number.
Note: Items received without a RA number will not be accepted and the item will be returned to you.
 
 There are two return options:
1) Return the item for a refund of the purchase price of the item less shipping and a 25% retocking fee.  Note: No Refunds on Helmets.... size exchange only for same style helmet.
 
2) Return the item for store credit of the purchase price less shipping charges, no restocking fee will be charged on store credits. (Store credit must be used within 3 months of the return) Note: No Store Credit On Helmets.. Size Exchange Only on same style helmet.
 
FAQ's
When Will My Refund Be Sent?
Once your return has been received and accepted, please allow 21 days for your refund check to arrive via US mail. All refunds are by company check only effective 7/15/08. Be sure we have your correct mailing address on file. 
 
Store credit will be available once item is returned and inspected for use or damage.
Store Credit is normally available within 24 hours of recieving the item.
 
Note: All returns must meet our return policies to recieve any credit.
 
Return Shipping Charges?
Return shipping charges for an item exchange, refund or store credit is at your expense. You may use the carrier of your choice. Please make sure you keep a tracking number for your records.
 Exchanges for the same item in a different size are normally processed within 5 business days or based on current availability. Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days.  Refunds will be sent via US mail and will need to be signed for.  If you don’t get your exchange after 14 days of sending it or if you don’t see your refund after 30 days, please contact us.
 
 If any item received by you has a manufacturer defective please notify us within 48 hours. The item can only be exchanged for the exact same item in the same size. You are still required to pay the return shipping costs. 
 
 Undamaged item exchanges for another size of the same item will be permitted. Note: Not all sizes may be available on all items.. You are still required to pay the return shipping costs.
 
Please allow 14 days for all exchanges to be completed. This gives us time to recieve your item and inspect the return. Plus re-ship the new item back to you.
 
 If you need to exchange an item faster, please place a new order (item will need to be paid for) and send the other item back asking for full refund as you paid shipping (only the lesser of the two shipping costs will be refunded). Please include your new order number as proof.
 
 If you receive a defective item you must notify us by email and phone within 48 hours of receiving the item. If you do not follow this policy and we receive the item without being notified, the item will be returned to you after receiving new shipping charges from you.
 
Late Returns:
Unfortunately, items received after the 14-day return period cannot be accepted for a refund or exchange , and your package will be returned to you. If we receive the same late return package a second time, we will keep your merchandise and no credit will be issued.
Directions for Returns
What carrier should I use?
You may use the carrier of your choice. Simply address your return package to the LeatherUp.com return address shown at the front of your packing slip. Then take your package to the carrier of your choice. We highly recommend using a carrier that has tracking information, FedEx, UPS, or DHL. If using USPS we recommend purchasing Delivery confirmation. Return shipping is at your expense and is not refundable.
General Merchandise Return 
Please note: To be accepted for return, items must be in their original purchase condition, including the original product packaging, manufacturer's containers, documentation, warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories. Any item that you received with tags attached must be returned with those tags intact and attached. All packaging, including the original manufacturer's containers, must be unmarked and not defaced in any manner. Items purchased as part of a set or multi-item pack may not be returned individually. Returns that do not meet these requirements will be sent back to you and no refund will be issued

  • Copy of Invoice or Order #.
  • Billing First & Last Name
  • Email address used to place order.
  • List the item(s) that you are returning for a refund.
  • Note the reason for the return for refund. 
  • Detailed instructions to what you would like for us to do with your order.
  • We strongly recommend you make a copy of your invoice number and return information for your records.
  • We also suggest sending all packages back to our warehouse Via FedEx, UPS or DHL. Keep the tracking number for your records.
  • Make sure to insure the package as we cannot be held responsible for lost packages. All packages shipped from our warehouse to you are insured for the amount of the items that total the order
  • If you send back your package VIA U.S.P.S, Make sure the package is insured and you add delivery confirmation. We cannot be held responsible for lost packages. All Packages shipped to you are insured by us.
  • We do not refund any shipping / handling charges.
    1. We suggest that you make a copy of your invoice for your records.
    2. Please address your package to the address located on the front of your packing slip.
    3. Pack the merchandise you are returning, including the original packing slip, in an appropriately sized box.
    4. Please follow our guidelines to return merchandise as this will ensure your order will be processed correctly once it is received.

5. After we have received your return, inspected it, and approved it for a refund, we will credit the approved refund amount to the credit card originally used to place the
order less restocking, and shipping and handling charges.

How Do I Make an Exchange?
Note: We No Longer Except Helmet Returns for refund or store credit. Helmets that do not fit may be exchanged for the same helmet style and brand in a different size. No Color changes... You are reponsible for shipping charges for the return.
 
 If for some reason your clothing item does not fit we will exchange your item for the excact same item in a different size. You are reponsible for shipping charges for the return.
 
 If the clothing size you need is not available, you have two options:
1) Return the item for a refund of the purchase price less shipping and retocking fees.
2) Return the item for store credit. Store credit will be for full purchase price less shipping, no restocking fee will be charged. 
 
Please note: To use your store credit you will need to place another order within three months of the credit being given.
     
          Please provide us with the following information with your exchange / return.

Wholesale/Dropship Customers: We do not exchange items or refund monies on any wholesale purchase. Items with manufacturer defects will be replaced or repaired and shipped back to you.
 Check your packages upon arrival for any outside damage. If the package shows any damage please open the package before UPS leaves. Any items damaged in transit are the reponsibility of UPS.
